Working with the team at Beam I animated this two minute piece illustrating the service Docent provides to both patients and hospitals. Designed to take the featured spot on Docent’s website, the look and feel was tightly integrated into the website layout, creating a seamless connection between animation and brand.

LeasePilot

A Better Way

LeasePilot is a startup with some truly game-changing technology, but explaining that to customers who are used to doing things manually in Microsoft Word is sometimes a challenge. I wrote, directed, and animated this piece to help convey what LeasePilot is, and why lawyers should care (hint: it’s faster and cheaper and way less stressful). Lots of abstract shapes and snappy transitions later and now there are a few more lawyers in the world excited about getting home earlier.

Viewpoint Creative brought me in to animate this piece for Fasetto. Originally living across five screens in a custom, seamless arrangement at CES, the project explores the potential of a brand new (and pretty badass) streaming device. There were a lot of fun moments in this one but my favorite is the Space Invaders easter egg at the :37 mark.

Paying for college is a stressful process, but for the Harvard Financial Aid Office the main challenge is communicating how affordable it actually is. While at Toil I co-directed and animated these videos to help allay the concerns of potential students and their families. A friendly tone, hand-drawn illustrations and calming color palette all work together to make an intimidating topic feel a lot easier.

Explainer videos, product pieces and looping GIF backgrounds all come together to help show how the technical wizardry that makes their headphones so essential on airplanes is equally life-changing on the road.
